Training module (SI): The Lawmaker dashboard
In this module, you will learn how to use the Lawmaker Dashboard to find your projects.
Tutorial
The Dashboard is where projects are found on Lawmaker.
You will use it to access existing projects and create new projects.
You can view the Dashboard in a ‘Tile’ view (the default), or in a ‘Table’ view.
There are various options to search and filter on the Dashboard, including filtering your Favourites, which are projects which you have created or which you have chosen to ‘Favourite’.
See the annotated image below:

Further information
See Finding projects on the Dashboard if you want more detailed information.
Once you’re comfortable with the features of the dashboard, move on to the exercises.
Exercises
Getting started
Before you start the exercises, you will need to be logged in to the Lawmaker Training environment (link here).
The dashboard is the screen you will see when you log in.
If you are already in a Project in Lawmaker, press the Home button in the top left of the screen to navigate to the dashboard.
Exercise 1 - Toggle between Tile and Table view
Toggle between the tile and table view, and back. (Then continue using whichever you prefer.)
Exercise 2 - Use the ‘Filter by project title’ field
Search for a Project by name. (If you don’t have an existing Project of your own, just search for one you can already see on the Dashboard.)
Then view all projects again.
Exercise 3 - Favouriting your projects
Favourite a Project (or projects), then view your Favourites, then view all projects again.
Exercise 4 (Optional) - Filter by project type
Filter so you only see Statutory Instruments, NI Statutory Rules, or NI Orders in Council.
Then view all projects again.
Hints
If you cannot find a project, check that none of the filters have been accidentally selected. This could include a blank space in Filter by project title, for example.
