Adding [R] to Members with Relevant Interests

Introduction

Members with relevant interests in a Commons or Northern Ireland amendment are displayed in amendment lists with the letter "R" in square brackets e.g. "Jo Swinson [R]".

How to add [R] to a Member's displayed name

  1. Right-click on the name of the Member who needs updating.

  2. Select Add/Remove Relevant Interest

  3. The Editor will display an “[R]” at the end of the selected Member’s name

Hints and tips

The relevant interest marker will stay with the Member on that amendment for the rest of the amendment’s journey through parliament

To remove a relevant interest marker, repeat the same steps
