Generating a Table of Destinations
To insert the Table of Destinations, open the ‘Insert’ menu from the upper toolbar in the Editor, and select ‘Insert Table of Destinations’.

You must have already inserted a Table of Origins for this action to work.
There are two options available when inserting the Table of Destinations:
You can generate all tables for all existing enactments referenced in the Table of Origins;
You can generate a single table for a specific enactment.

Inserting a Table of Destinations and selecting a specific enactment
Inserting all tables of destinations
Lawmaker processes the list of abbreviations in the Origins attachment, the list of Origin information in the Table of Origins, and information about the referenced enactments from legislation.gov.uk.
A Table of Destinations attachment is created at the end of the bill document, containing one table for each enactment referenced in the list of abbreviations before the Table of Origins.
The titles of the enactments referenced in the Origin notes are extracted from legislation.gov.uk and included in the table. The rewritten provision column is populated using the information from the Table of Origins.

You can then populate the Remarks column manually.
Inserting a table for a specific enactment
You can generate or re-generate a table for a specific enactment by selecting the second option in the modal shown above.
Pick the relevant abbreviation for the enactment using the drop-down, and confirm your selection. A single table will be generated for that enactment.
If a table already exists for that enactment, a new table will be generated and inserted directly after that existing table. If you written any remarks in the third-column of the existing table, you will need to copy those to the new table manually.
Updating internal references in the middle column of the destinations tables
During the drafting process, or when the Consolidation Bill proceeds through an amending stage in parliament, provisions may be inserted, removed, and renumbered.
To update the internal references in the second column of the destinations tables, place your cursor somewhere in the Table of Destinations and select the “Update references”
action in the toolbar. Lawmaker will update the numbering of the internal references which appear in each table.
This method will allow the majority of tables to be updated automatically following the renumbering of the Bill. Note the following limitations:
If a subsection or another provision of the Bill is completely deleted, updating the references in the middle column of the destinations tables won’t remove the table rows relating to that provision. The references in the middle column will appear as invalid references, however, which will mean they are highlighted in the Document Checks panel and you can easily locate them and remove the rows manually.
Conversely, if a new provision is added to the Bill, updating the references in the middle column of the destinations tables won’t add new table rows relating to that new provision. You will need to regenerate the relevant tables in full, or manually add the relevant rows.
