Adding or editing a Sort Code

Where two or more amendments are proposing changes to the same location in the Bill, Sort Codes can be used to determine the order in which those amendments appear in any official lists.

You can add or edit Sort Codes in the Editor, by opening an individual amendment or a full list.

You can also add or edit Sort Codes from the Amendment Manager tab.

In the Editor

With your cursor inside the amendment you wish to change:

  1. On the right-hand side, click on the “Amendment information” tab.
