Adding and managing comments
Lawmaker allows you to add comments to a document in the Editor view. These will be visible to colleagues also working on the document, and can be replied to, edited or marked as Done.
Adding and viewing comments
To add a comment:
Place your cursor in the part of the document you wish to comment on.
You can highlight a selection if you want the comment to relate to that selection; otherwise, the comment will relate to the word in which your cursor is placed.
Either:
Right-click and select Add Comment from the context menu, or
go to the toolbar menu and select Tools → Add Comment.
In the Add Comment window, type your comment.
Click OK.
You will be able to see your comment in the Review tab on the right-hand panel, as in the screenshot below.

Mark as Done/Open
To mark a comment as Done, select the toggle icon beneath the comment.

The comment will appear greyed out, and it will not be possible to edit or reply to it (or to edit or reply to any replies to that comment).

Comments will shown inline, in italics, and surrounded by square brackets, including the username of the commenter.
